Job summary

Ezee Fiber is seeking an Instructional Designer to lead the design and delivery of learning experiences across the organization. You’ll partner with leaders, SMEs, and the L&D team to scope projects, develop content, and deliver blended learning that drives measurable performance outcomes.

In this remote US role, you’ll apply ADDIE/SAM, craft storyboards, and create modules with Articulate 360, Rise, and the Adobe suite. A strong portfolio demonstrating instructional design success is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years instructional design experience in corporate or fast-paced environments.
  • Portfolio demonstrating instructional design projects is required.

JOB SUMMARY

As an Instructional Designer, you’ll partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and L&D team members to identify performance needs and deliver innovative learning solutions. You’ll own the end-to-end instructional design process, from initial scoping to content development to delivery, creating blended learning experiences that drive measurable outcomes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Consult with internal stakeholders to conduct learning needs assessments and define performance objectives.
  • Design and develop engaging, scalable learning programs (e.g., instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, microlearning, performance support).
  • Apply adult learning theory, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and UX principles to create learner-centered solutions.
  • Develop course materials including storyboards, facilitator guides, participant materials, and assessments.
  • Leverage authoring tools (Articulate 360, Rise, Adobe Suite, etc.) to build interactive eLearning modules.
  • Collaborate with LMS administrators to publish, track, and optimize learning content.
  • Use data to evaluate learning effectiveness and iterate based on learner and stakeholder feedback.
  • Balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-growth, agile environment.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Education, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.5+ years of instructional design experience, preferably within a corporate or fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and pivot while managing multiple projects from discovery through development and delivery.
  • Experience designing impactful, employee-focused onboarding and new hire learning experiences.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across a variety of learning and communication formats.
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning best practices.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), learning analytics, and SCORM standards and requirements.
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools and multimedia editing software.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Portfolio required: Applicants must include a link to their instructional design portfolio on their résumé or attach a portfolio demonstrating relevant instructional design projects and work samples.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in designing for technical, field-based, and sales teams.
  • Familiarity with agile project management methods.
  • Exposure to video-based learning and scenario-driven simulations.
  • Basic-to-advanced graphic or visual design skills.
