Odessa College seeks an Instructional Designer to support the Quality Course Components program and collaborate with faculty on educational technology integration. Responsibilities include evaluating instructional technologies, developing online and in-person training materials, and conducting course evaluations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and experience with learning management systems.
This position requires creativity and communication skills, as well as the ability to enhance digital learning experiences through innovative coursework.
The Instructional Designer, an on-campus and in-person position, serves on the OC Global Instructional Design team and is responsible for the appropriate integration and assessment of instructional technologies to support Odessa College’s Quality Course Components (QC2) program. In addition to collaborating with faculty on the evaluation and integration of educational technology, the Instructional Designer serves as a facilitator for OC Global’s Online Teaching Certificate Program. Under the direction of the Chief of Staff, the Instructional Design team will actively engage with faculty and the college’s Instructional Leadership in the development and growth of quality distance education programs.
