Job summary

OtterBase is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to create engaging training for employees across supply chain, operations, and corporate teams. You will apply adult learning theory and ADDIE to deliver high-quality, accessible materials in multiple formats.

You will design and develop learning content, manage projects with Agile methods, and lead Train-the-Trainer sessions to ensure successful delivery within the company's LMS.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of corporate training design experience in both classroom and digital formats.
• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Audition, or Premiere Pro is a plus.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies (ADDIE), and current learning technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to conduct needs analyses, define performance goals, and identify learning gaps.
• Plan and manage instructional design projects using ADDIE framework and agile methods to meet deadlines.
• Design and develop learning materials that support technical, functional, and compliance training.
• Create eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline and Rise, including custom interactions and performance-based designs.
• Ensure learning content is properly maintained and updated in the organization’s learning management system (LMS).
• Lead content reviews and Train-the-Trainer sessions to support successful delivery.
