Job summary

Winebow is seeking an experienced e-learning instructional designer to develop and refine interactive training programs across the organization. You will analyze needs, storyboard large projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective learning experiences.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, at least two years of instructional design experience, and proficiency with Captivate, Storyline, Camtasia, Acrobat Pro and SnagIt.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, curriculum and instruction, or related field.
• At least 2 years of e-learning instructional design and development experience.
• Experience with Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, and SnagIt.

Responsibilities

• Design, storyboard, and prototype large, complex interactive web-based training.
• Analyze training content and evaluate effectiveness with stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to instructional team and troubleshoot issues.

In addition to those factors, we consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Act as a consultative subject-matter-expert on all existing and new instructional initiativesLead needs analysis to ensure alignment of information with instructional prioritiesDesign, storyboard and/or prototype large, complex interactive web-based projects for various stakeholders in a creative, team-oriented environmentAnalyze current and historical training content for trends, adjustments, and implementation of effective practicesAnalyze and select the most appropriate instructional strategies, methodologies, technologies, and/or delivery channels to maximize the e-learning experienceSynthesize and analyze evaluation and assessment data outcomes with internal and external stakeholders to include effectiveness of content and delivery, alignment of session with instructional objectives, acquisition of skills, effect on practices and overall success against established evaluation criteriaAnalyze current and historical training content for trends, adjustments, and implementation of effective practicesCollaborate with the instructional team to develop project scope, goals, objectives, and measurements by analyzing needs and proposing multiple modality solutionsEnable and support all employees to utilize new technologies and learning materialsTroubleshoot issues effectively and in a timely fashionProvide technical support to instructional team as neededOTHER FUNCTIONS:Follows all safety policies and procedures; communicate hazards and/or suggest improvements to ManagerOther duties as assignedWORKING CONDITIONS:Normal office environmentEQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USED:Telephone, copier, computer, fax machine, calculatorPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Sitting, standing, bending, manual dexterity, reaching, visual acuity, lifting up to 10lbsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university or college in education, curriculum and instruction, organizational development, or another business-related field, or equivalent work experience2 years of e-learning instructional design and development experienceDemonstrated experience in developing content to support complex processesDemonstrated e-learning instructional design and development expertiseDemonstrated proficiency with common industry courseware development tools and software applications (Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, Acrobat Professional, SnagIt, etc.)Experience working within a fast-paced learning environmentProject management or project-based skills are desirableHybrid Work Schedule: Required in-office Tuesday–Thursday, with additional in-office attendance required as needed for special meetings or business needs on non-designated in-office days.EMPLOYER'S RIGHTSThis job description does not list all the duties of the job.
