Job summary

Anchor Point Technology Resources in the United States is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to lead the design of learning journeys and blended programs for individual contributors and managers.

You will apply adult learning theory and models such as ADDIE and SAM, create experiential learning for skill practice, develop facilitation materials, collaborate with stakeholders, and use AI to accelerate design while measuring impact with Kirkpatrick’s framework.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of instructional design experience.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning.
• Experience with Cornerstone and/or Articulate 360.

Job description

We’re looking for an Instructional Designer with 5+ years of experience to help lead the instructional design process and establish best practices for the next phase of learning and development work.

This role will support learning journeys for both individual contributors and managers/people leaders, with approximately 75% Instructional Design, 10–15% Facilitation, and the remainder focused on project support.

What you’ll do:

• Design modular and phased learning journeys and blended learning experiences
• Apply adult learning theory and instructional design models such as ADDIE and SAM
• Create experiential learning experiences that allow learners to practice new skills
• Develop facilitation materials and deliver engaging learning sessions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and develop learning solutions
• Use AI and innovative approaches to accelerate learning design and development
• Develop metrics to evaluate learning effectiveness using Kirkpatrick’s model
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of instructional design experience
• Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning
• Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with Cornerstone and/or Articulate 360
• Experience with Microsoft Office and virtual conferencing platforms
• Creative, innovative, and comfortable bringing new ideas to the table
