Job summary

Passion for Life, Inc. is seeking an Instructional Design Specialist Internship to help create engaging curriculum for youth programs. The intern will develop courses, guides, manuals, and videos, redesign materials for accessibility, and research new learning activities and technologies.

Collaboration with the Curriculum Development Manager and other team members is essential. This role involves hosting online training sessions via Google Meet and Zoom, with 9–10 hours per week required.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Curriculum Development, Education, Organizational Development or Business.
  • Junior or Senior status if enrolled.
  • Time commitment of 9-10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-energy, fun, interactive workshop and summer camp curriculum to create experiential learning.
  • Create instructional materials: courses, student guides, training manuals, teaching aids, and videos.
  • Redesign instructional materials for accessibility and usability.
  • Research learning activities and technologies for training programs.
  • Collaborate with Curriculum Development Manager and team members.
  • Assist in hosting/scheduling online training via Google Meet and Zoom.
  • Collect and organize feedback on existing training programs and materials.

Responsibilities
  • Develop high-energy, fun, interactive workshop and summer camp curriculum to create creative experiential learning.
  • Create instructional materials in the form of courses, student guides, training manuals, teaching aids, and videos.
  • Redesign instructional materials to ensure accessibility and usability.
  • Research and identify learning activities and technologies that can be incorporated into training programs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Curriculum Development Manager and other curriculum development team members.
  • Assist in hosting/scheduling online training initiatives through Google Meet and Zoom.
  • Participate in collecting and organizing feedback on existing training programs and materials
Required Skills

Qualifications

Education Requirement:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Curriculum Development, Education, Organizational Development or Business required (Bachelor’s preferred), Instructional Design, Learning & Development, and Human Learning & Development

Must be a Junior or Senior if currently enrolled.

Additional information

Time Commitment: 9-10 hours a week
