Job summary

Stadler US Inc. is seeking a Learning and Instructional Design Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate employee training that enhances skills, performance, and engagement.

You will work with internal stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop targeted solutions aligned with organizational goals. The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years in learning and development, with strong knowledge of instructional design principles and e-learning tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, adult education, organizational development or related field.
• 2+ years in learning and development or instructional design.
• Proficiency with e-learning tools (Articulate, Captivate) and LMS platforms.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department leaders to identify skill gaps and training priorities using surveys, interviews, and performance data.
• Design and customize e-learning modules, workshops, and on-the-job training aligned with objectives.
• Develop engaging training materials (presentations, guides, videos, interactive activities) following instructional design principles.
• Deliver training in-person, virtual, or hybrid to maximize engagement and retention.
• Measure training effectiveness using feedback, assessments and performance metrics; implement improvements.
• Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring current, accessible content.
• Partner with HR, management, and external vendors to support business goals.
