Job summary

The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inc. seeks an Instructional Designer at UW-Whitewater College of Business and Economics to guide pedagogy and technology integration across online, hyflex, and in-person courses.

This 12-month Academic Staff role partners with faculty and the CoBE Tech team to design high-quality learning experiences. The successful candidate will apply learning theories, ensure accessibility compliance, and advance assessment practices while maintaining strong LMS

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, or related field.
• At least 2 years designing and developing courses across online, hyflex, and face-to-face modalities.
• Experience with enterprise LMS such as Canvas.

Responsibilities

• Provide pedagogical consultation and design support to faculty within CoBE.
• Collaborate with the Tech team to integrate multimedia and AI-enabled instructional tools.
• Develop training programs and documentation for faculty on LMS features.
• Assist with strategic alignment and resource planning for teaching initiatives.
