Job summary

Utah Transit Authority is seeking an Instructional Design Intern to gain hands-on experience in instructional design, curriculum development, adult learning, e-learning, and workforce training. You will work with instructional designers, trainers, and subject matter experts to develop training materials for UTA employees.

This part-time internship (up to 29 hours/week) lasts about 6 months, with potential extension up to a year, and requires in-person work in Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college/university (undergrad or masters).
• Transcript and two letters of recommendation required; minimum 3.0 GPA.
• coursework in instructional design, adult learning theory, curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, reviewing, and revising training courses and materials.
• Create engaging content, activities, assessments, job aids, and presentations.
• Support LMS administration and standardized curricula implementation.
• Participate in QA activities to ensure accuracy and usability.
