Position Overview:

South College is looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Operations Manager to support the Instructional Design and Technology (IDT) team. The role involves managing daily operations, overseeing project workflows, leading textbook and materials adoption and fulfillment, and coordinating vendor relationships.

The successful candidate will facilitate the smooth execution of IDT initiatives and ensure effective communication across departments and with vendors.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Executive Director and Associate Directors of IDT with daily operations to ensure timely, high-quality course development and maintenance.
2. Track and manage instructional design projects from inception to completion in collaboration with IDT leadership.
3. Coordinate the adoption and fulfillment of textbooks and course materials with faculty and vendors.
4. Develop and maintain workflows, process documentation, and quality standards.
5. Support team onboarding, internal communication, cross-functional collaboration, and information management.
6. Support or lead additional projects and departmental priorities as assigned.
