About the role:
The Ad Operations Coordinator for Broadcast and Video works in the department where all of Lead Surge’s TV, YouTube, OTT, and radio spot versioning originates. The Ad Operations Coordinator will help implement our process of monthly broadcast and video spot ordering, quality control/proofing, and client approvals.
You will be part of the team that executes the order process for all slotted media, from initial order through client approvals. All associated spot tasks are completed on deadline to be trafficked and run according to media schedules across our client’s various United States and Canadian markets.
We version approximately 300-400 spots per month – every month.
This role requires a dynamic, data centric individual with exceptional technological, organizational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally detail-oriented, able to function well under pressure, and adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
• Technology: Ability to quickly learn and utilize our custom CRM software, productivity software, and our digital asset management system to implement the complete spot ordering process.
• Spot Ordering: Prepare monthly spot orders details and follow the set ordering process with our external production house.
• Client Offers & Legal Disclaimers: Help assemble and review monthly client offers and legal disclaimers with copy editor team to ensure compliance and accuracy for use in spots.
• Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our external production house ensuring timely delivery and quality of services with your sights set on communication and continuous improvement.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks and proof all creative content across TV, radio, and digital platforms to ensure it meets our standards, is correct, and has been approved by client.
• Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service and addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
• Billing: Assure all entries into the CRM system are itemized correctly for billing purposes.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• A positive attitude and a keen ability to embrace change and evolving processes. We are growing and upgrading our processes and technology to continue to provide premiere service to our clients.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
• Keen eye and ear for proofing and reviewing spots for accuracy
• Proficiency with CRM and DAM systems
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform well under tight deadlines.
• Customer service mindset with a professional, respectful approach to client interactions.
• Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving skills and a data-focused mindset.
• Experience in both Mac and Microsoft Office environments preferred.
Required (and/or) preferred education and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, data, or business areas is preferred but not required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in data management or spot versioning processes is ideal.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects Lead Surge's good faith determination of the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries across the US. Individual pay is determined by related factors, including job skills, experience, and relevant education or training, and work location, which may impact a final offer.
Base pay range for US: $60,000 to $65,000
