Job summary

ROCKFORD PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT #205 is seeking an Instructional Coach to support teachers and school leadership in implementing the District's Curricula and Instructional Framework.

The coach guides changes to increase student engagement, improve achievement, and build teacher capacity; collaborates with principals, participates in professional development, and uses data-driven SMART processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of successful experience as a teacher.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and Illinois State Board of Education
• Professional Educator License registered in Winnebago county

Responsibilities

• Ensure actions align with Board policies and district strategic plan.
• Participate in job training and professional growth opportunities.
• Coach teachers to identify needs by analyzing student data through the SMART process.
• Develop and facilitate high quality, job-embedded professional development.
• Provide on-going assistance and support to teachers using LMS and SMART processes.
