Job summary

The Gonzales ISD is seeking an Instructional Coach to partner with classroom teachers across content areas to strengthen student learning. The role focuses on personalized, adult-centered professional development aligned to the campus improvement plan.

Qualified candidates have a master’s degree preferred, valid Texas teaching certificate, and at least three years of teaching experience. Strong data interpretation and training delivery skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university, preferred.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate.
• Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation.
• Ability to interpret data and evaluate instruction programs.
• Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Three years teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to set measurable objectives for professional development and student learning.
• Support ongoing professional growth through coaching and collaboration.
• Observe instruction and provide feedback to improve teaching.
• Plan and deliver staff development for teachers, admins, and staff.
• Analyze student data with teachers to guide instructional strategies.
• Develop curricular or behavioral support materials as needed.
• Disseminate current research and developments at state and national levels.
• Attend professional development opportunities for growth.
• Maintain reports and documents; comply with policies.
• This position may be funded by federal Title I program.
