Job summary

FIELD’s EPIC program seeks an Instructional Assistant to support adult students with supplemental small group instruction and tutoring at the high school level. Remote instruction may occur from learning centers across California.

A background in teaching diverse populations and language acquisition strategies is required. The role involves assisting teachers with individualized learning plans, maintaining student records, and supporting with technology needed for online instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in relevant fields.
• Experience with rural farm-working communities preferred but not required.
• TB clearance and fingerprinting/DOJ background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students and teacher in-person and online.
• Tutor individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Develop and maintain instructional materials and records.
• Assist with testing administration and scoring.
• Support with opening/closing site procedures.
