Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant III for Skycrest School. The position is part-time (6.5 hours/day) with hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, serving ED and autism programs as assigned.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, CBEST or SJUSD proficiency, and eligibility for related documentation. The district offers competitive step-based pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must attach High School Diploma or equivalent and one document from the approval list.
• List A: SJUSD Proficiency Exam score from Apr 2005 to present.
• List B: CBEST score submission required.
• Passing IA Proficiency Test or CBEST is required for consideration.
• Unsigned/incomplete applications will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support students who are severe/emotionally disturbed.
• Assist groups of children, including ED or autism classes.
