Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant II for Skycrest School. The position is part time, 6 hours daily, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a salary range of $19.51–$24.47 per hour plus a 5% hard-to-staff stipend.

Qualifications include high school diploma and experience with students in Resource/LD/CHP programs; CBEST/ proficiency test experience preferred. Apply by 10/20/2026.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students served in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Ability to run small groups and support teachers in both Specialized Day Class settings and General Education.
• Willingness and ability to obtain a California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire if required.

Responsibilities

• Run small groups and support students in large group settings.
• Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom needs.
• Support planning, preparation, and supervision as directed by the teacher.
