Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant III at Pasteur Middle School. The position is part-time (7 hours/day) with a schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, and includes a 5% Hard to Staff Stipend.

The role supports emotionally disturbed students and requires relevant documentation and testing prerequisites. Location is Pasteur MS with calendar 18A/18B/18C variants, 206 days/year.

Qualifications

• Experience working with emotionally disturbed (ED) students and related programs.
• Ability to support groups of children and individuals in instructional settings.
• Willingness to obtain required California driving license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support ED students in the classroom and related program activities.
• Assist in implementing IEP/behavior plans as directed by the teacher.
