Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is looking for a Secondary Elementary Instructional Assistant II at Katherine Johnson, part-time for 9 months. The role supports students with mild/moderate needs, often in 1:1 or small-group settings, and assists the teacher with classroom tasks.

Part-time posting hours are 8:00 AM - 2:45 PM, 6.25-hour days, Monday through Friday. Candidates should be prepared to meet pre-qualification requirements including diploma or CBEST or proficiency test results.

Qualifications

• Must pre-qualify by attaching a High School Diploma or equivalent and one document from the list.
• Passing CBEST or IA Proficiency Test required for consideration.
• Willingness to obtain California Class C Driver License if driving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Run small groups and assist students in large groups in various classroom settings.
• Support the teacher's needs and provide 1:1 assistance as required.
