Job summary

San Juan Unified seeks an Instructional Assistant II to provide 1:1 support for students in mild/moderate settings. The role covers both Resource and Special Education contexts, assisting teachers with small-group instruction and general classroom tasks.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant experience, with the ability to support 1:1 and group activities. A California Class C Driver License may be required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in Resource, Learning Handicap, or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Ability to run small groups and assist students in large groups.
• Willingness to obtain a California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire if required.

Responsibilities
