Job summary

Spring-Ford Area School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant at Royersford Elementary School to support classroom instruction and student learning. The role focuses on assisting students with remedial work, independent studies, specialized needs, and enrichment programs in an autistic support setting.

The position is full-time for 10 months, with hours from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and an hourly rate of $20.50.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special needs is preferred but not required.
• Must meet Paraprofessional Highly Qualified Requirements: Associate degree or higher, or 48 credits post-secondary, or passed local assessment in reading, writing and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with remedial work, independent studies, specialized areas of need and enrichment programs.
• Support instruction at Royersford Elementary School by aiding teachers and supervising students during activities.

Full Time 10-month position available at Spring-Ford's Royersford Elementary School. This position will be in Autistic Support.

• Experience working with students with special needs is preferred but not required.
• Must meet the Paraprofessional Highly Qualified Requirements: All individuals entering the paraprofessional field are required to be Highly Qualified. Individuals are required to hold an Associate's degree or higher, or have earned at least 48 credits post-secondary training or have passed a rigorous local assessment in reading, writing and mathematics.
