We are seeking a dedicated Instructional Aide to support students in grades one and two on a part-time basis. The hours are 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The Instructional Aide will assist teachers in implementing educational and behavioral strategies to promote student learning and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Education or related field preferred
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is a plus

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the teacher
• Support student behavior management in accordance with school policies
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the individual needs of students
• Assist with classroom organization and preparation for lessons
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the educational mission of the school
  
  

All employees must pass a Level II FBI fingerprint screening and complete all mandatory training.
