Job summary

Freedom Preparatory Academy seeks Instructional Aides to support our growing network of charter schools in Memphis, TN. The role emphasizes student growth, classroom support, and alignment with the school's mission and core values.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, Tennessee teaching license or reciprocal eligibility, and some urban teaching experience. Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Tennessee teaching license or reciprocal eligibility required or enrollment in a licensure program.
• Two years of urban teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse learners in heterogeneous classrooms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Embodies network core values of respect, responsibility, integrity, and excellence.
• Upholds high academic and behavioral expectations in the classroom.
• Assist with lesson planning, curriculum development, and materials creation.
• Maintain accurate records as required by law and district regulations.
• Collaborate with Head of School, Assistant Head, and Dean to support all students.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by administration.
