Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking an Instructional Aide at Northside Preparatory Academy in Cincinnati, OH. You will assist the Teacher with classroom activities, help promote positive student behavior, and support school events to foster a safe, engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with lessons, coordinating activities, and performing clerical tasks. The role supports student safety and school climate under the guidance of teachers and administration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, two years of college coursework, or the Paraprofessional’s Exam is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office is required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to meet educational standards and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with classroom activities and support individual or small groups.
• Plan classroom activities and support parent relations and student activities.
• Assist with school activities and events (parent nights, meetings, assemblies, etc.).
• Perform clerical duties including grading and copying.
