Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking a 1:1 Instructional Aide at Fairfield Preparatory Academy in Hamilton, OH. You will support teachers, assist with classroom activities, and help promote positive student behavior in academics and extracurriculars.

Responsibilities include helping with lessons, planning activities, assisting with school events, performing clerical tasks, and ensuring safety and a positive climate. Requires Associate degree or Paraprofessional’s Exam and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework, or passing the Paraprofessional’s Exam.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI check.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Teacher with classroom activities and support individual or small groups as directed.
• Help plan classroom activities and support parent relations.
• Assist with school activities and events (parent nights, assemblies, fundraisers, chaperoning).
• Perform clerical duties (grading, copying) and help with classroom technology.
• Help maintain cleanliness of classroom and common spaces; follow school philosophy and policies.
• Accept and implement the school’s mission in all activities; perform other duties as assigned.
