Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking an Instructional Aide at Western Toledo Preparatory Academy on Hill Avenue in Toledo, Ohio. This role supports teachers, promotes positive student behavior, and helps maintain a safe, engaging learning environment for EK-8 students.

The successful candidate will have an associate degree or two years of college, pass the Paraprofessional’s Exam, and be proficient with MS Office. Training and benefits accompany the position, with a starting hourly rate of $15.00.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups.
• Aids in planning classroom activities and parent relations.
• Assists with school activities and events (facilitators, chaperones, etc.).
• Performs clerical duties (grading papers, copies).
• Assists with classroom technology and maintaining cleanliness.
• Undertakes duties such as field trips, duty posts, and lunches.
