The University of Southern Mississippi seeks an Institutional Query Analyst to manage the campus-wide query environment and ensure data integrity across departments. You will audit queries, coordinate training for query writers, and lead the campus-wide data literacy program in partnership with data stakeholders.

TheInstitutional Query Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining theUniversity’s PeopleSoft query environment, ensuring that campus-wide queryusage aligns with established business processes, internal policies, and datagovernance standards. This position supports institutional data integrity byconducting regular audits, analyzing existing queries, and collaborating withdepartments to address discrepancies and improve data reliability. The analystplays a critical role in campus data governance through oversight of querysecurity access, coordination of query writer training, and leadership of thecampus-wide query literacy program in partnership with key data stakeholders.
Bachelor’sdegree from an accredited college or university in data science, informationsystems, computer science, statistics, business analytics, or a closely relatedfield; and three (3) to five (5) years of experience in data analysis,reporting, or information systems; or an equivalent combination of educationand experience.
Proficiencywith use of SQL and Peoplesoft; demonstrated data quality control experience;demonstrated high levels of attention to detail; experience working inacademia.
