Job summary

Miami County is seeking a food service worker to prepare meals in production quantities for incarcerated youth and facility staff. Qualifications

• Completion of a High School Diploma and/or equivalent with training and/or any combination of training and work experience that indicates possession of the required skills, knowledge and abilities to perform essential and non-essential job functions.
• This position involves varied and non-varied tasks with application of numerous standards and procedures.
• Requires a moderate level of discretionary decision-making and sound exercise of judgment.

Responsibilities

• Operates institutional cooking equipment.
• Maintains inventory of food items and facility utensils.
• Prepares and submits records and reports.
