Iowa National Guard seeks a Food Service Supervisor to oversee the department's operations, including training and supervising incarcerated individuals, ensuring adherence to food codes, and managing inventories for meals.

You will maintain sanitation standards, document temperatures and equipment, and coordinate with security to ensure safe, efficient food service delivery across all meal services.

Formación

• Two years of full-time work experience in mass food production in a commercial, military, hospital, or institutional food services setting.
• Experience supervising incarcerated individuals or staff is desirable.
• Knowledge of local and state food codes and sanitation practices.

Responsabilidades

• Ingredient procurement, inventory management and FIFO practices to support meal production.
• Meal preparation, portioning and serving with attention to sanitation and safety.
• Direct supervision of incarcerated individuals within the Food Service department.
• Maintain documentation of temperatures, sanitation levels and equipment conditions.
• Coordinate food delivery, security and documentation to ensure compliance.
