Job Summary

Join CC as the Institutional Equity & Belonging (IEB) Program Coordinator and help advance programs and initiatives that foster a welcoming and engaged campus community. Serving as the operational hub of the IEB division, you'll work closely with multiple leaders and campus partners to coordinate projects, events, communications, and office operations that keep the division's work organized, responsive, and effective. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, collaborative problem solver who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and helping meaningful work happen behind the scenes.

Responsibilities
  • Program Logistics & Project Management:
    The Program Coordinator coordinates and manages the logistical implementation of Institutional Equity & Belonging (IEB) programs, trainings, meetings, events, and divisional initiatives, ensuring effective planning, tactful communication, and execution aligned with departmental priorities.
    The position develops project timelines, manages event logistics, coordinates registrations and communications, and serves as the primary operational support for divisional programming.
    The position also develops and distributes the monthly IEB newsletter and assists with other communications that increase awareness of IEB programs and initiatives.
    The Program Coordinator prepares reports, assessment data, and evaluation records through the collection, organization, and analysis of program information to support continuous improvement, divisional reporting, and strategic planning.
  • Administrative Duties:
    The Program Coordinator manages calendars to support effective scheduling and coordination of team priorities.
    The role oversees IEB office communications, marketing efforts, website content and maintenance, professional correspondence and front office operations to ensure a professional and responsive presence.
    Additionally, the position is responsible for recording, organizing, and maintaining accurate records such as evaluations, assessment data, budgets and reconciliations and IEB team consulting and programming requests to support operational efficiency, continuous improvement and accountability.
    This position supervises the student employees including training, scheduling and task assignment.
  • IEB Program Representation:
    The Program Coordinator contributes to a welcoming and inclusive campus community by supporting partnerships and collaborative initiatives that advance the mission of Institutional Equity & Belonging.
    The position serves as a liaison with campus departments and external partners, communicates IEB resources and opportunities, and assists with the implementation of divisional initiatives.
    The Program Coordinator represents the IEB office on designated committees and workgroups, shares information across campus partners, and contributes to collaborative efforts that strengthen institutional engagement, equity, and belonging.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years of experience in a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 years of progressively responsible experience coordinating projects, programs, events, or administrative operations in a complex organization.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365 and collaborative project management tools.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting competing deadlines.
  • Experience providing exceptional customer service and working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience coordinating communications, meetings, events, or training initiatives.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range

$21.17-$25.18 per hour
