Job summary

City Fresh Foods is seeking a delivery driver to serve clients in the Boston area. Responsibilities include checking meals against delivery slips, performing temperature checks when requested, and dispatch coordination if no contact is made at a site.

The role requires a valid Massachusetts driver’s license, English proficiency, and strong customer service and communication skills. Bilingual abilities (Spanish or Cape Verdean) are desired.

Responsibilities

• Checks packaged meals and labeled bags against the delivery slip.
• Conducts food temperature checks as requested.
• Call dispatch for instructions if there is no answer at the delivery site.
• Reports immediately the inability to reach a participant, by calling dispatch.
• Follows professional and company/agency standards for client confidentiality.
• Attends appropriate training sessions as required by City Fresh Foods Policy.
• Maintain safety and care in operation of a delivery vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
