Job summary

City Fresh Foods, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to check packaged meals against delivery slips, verify temperatures, and report issues to dispatch. This role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and customer service as part of daily routes.

Candidates should have a valid Massachusetts driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Bilingual English/Spanish or Cape Verdean is a plus; CDL is optional.

Qualifications

• Valid Mass driver's license required.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Bilingual – English and Spanish or Cape Verdean preferred.
• On your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to enter and exit vehicle multiple times a day.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Follow City Fresh Foods (CFF) protocols and guidelines.
• Company vehicle provided if Institutional driver (HDM drivers may use own vehicle).
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Checks packaged meals and labeled bags against the delivery slip.
• Conducts food temperature checks as requested
• Call dispatch for instructions if there is no answer at the delivery site
• Reports immediately the inability to reach a participant, by calling dispatch
• Follows professional and company/agency standards for client confidentiality
• Attends appropriate training sessions as required by City Fresh Foods Policy
• Maintain safety and care in operation of a delivery vehicle
• Other duties as assigned by manager
