Job summary

Fallingwater is seeking a full-time Fallingwater Institute Program Manager to oversee on-site education programs, High School and College Residencies, workshops, and residencies for adult professionals. The role includes studio management at High Meadow, collaboration with instructors, and coordination of tours, meals, and materials.

Strong leadership, program development, and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and substantial studio art education experience.
  • Experience with museum education or informal education is preferred.
  • Strong writing, speaking, organizational and project-management skills are required.
  • Customer service and interacting with diverse participants is essential.
  • Ability to design and assess educational programs for various age groups is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate on-site Fallingwater Institute education programs and residencies.
  • Serve as on-duty point person during sessions and supervise staff and students.
  • Guide contractors who work as instructors and house parents.
  • Handle administrative duties, calendars, tours, meals, and materials.
  • Manage registrations, admissions, and program rosters.
  • Oversee Cheteyan Studio operations, supplies, and safety.
  • Act as contact for students, parents, and contract staff during programs.
  • Lead tours and participate in professional development activities.
  • Promote effective communication within the program and with visitors.
  • Support fundraising, policies, and overall Conservancy mission.
