Job summary

Stimson Lumber Company is looking for a Manager, Stimson Technical Institute to lead a workforce development program designed to prepare early-career individuals for successful careers in the wood products industry. You will architect and administer the Institute, coordinating curriculum, partnerships, and participant success.

Qualifications

• Experience designing curriculum, lesson plans, learning objectives, assessments, or program materials.
• Strong project management, organization, planning and follow-through skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience working with students, early-career employees, apprentices, or similar developing populations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the Stimson Technical Institute, including launch planning, operations, and improvements.
• Develop annual program plans, budgets, reporting tools, and performance metrics.
• Maintain participant records and program documentation.
• Design and oversee curriculum, learning pathways, and assessments.
• Recruit and build partnerships with schools, colleges, and workforce organizations.
• Support participant development, mentorship, and successful transition to employment.
