Job summary

Penn State Outreach in Lackawanna County is seeking an Assistant Director for Fullers Overlook to lead the development and execution of on-site programming and to support the day-to-day operations of the property.

The position is fully in-person at Fullers Overlook, a 355-acre living laboratory near Scranton, fostering collaboration among faculty, students, staff, local governments, non-profits, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 6+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience developing and leading campus-based programming is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of on-site programming for Fullers Overlook.
• Support day-to-day operations and onboarding of Overlook as a Penn State Property.
• Collaborate with faculty, Student Affairs, and other units to develop student programming.
• Organize an annual public impact research symposium with posters and presentations.
• Promote Overlook activities through social media and Penn State News.
