Job summary

Zintex Remodeling Group is seeking an Acrylic Shower/Bath Installer on a 1099 contractor basis in Bartlett, TN 38133. Expect to demo/replace tubs or showers, install plumbing valves, PEX, fixtures, and acrylic surrounds.

Some projects may include vinyl flooring, cabinets, countertops and drywall; a well-rounded construction background is required. You must have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of renovation experience, a valid license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of carpentry/construction or in-home renovation experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to use power tools and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and measurements.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional appearance.
• Basic plumbing knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demolish, replace and/or expand tub or shower; install valves, PEX, fixtures, and acrylic surrounds.
• May include vinyl flooring, cabinets, countertops, drywall; well-rounded construction background required.
• Adhere to installation standards and maintain clean work areas.
• Be professional with customers and respect property; document work with photos.

Acrylic Shower/Bath Installer - 1099 Contractor

Job Details. Location: Bartlett, TN 38133 | Position Type: Contractor | Education Level: High School | Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 | Commission/year | Travel Percentage: Road Warrior | Job Shift: Any | Job Category: Construction.

Must have truck, box truck, full-size van, trailer to transport materials to the home sites and must have tools to complete projects (1099 position).

Responsibilities

• Successfully demo, replace and/or expand tub or shower, install all new plumbing valves, PEX, new fixtures, new acrylic wall surrounds. Projects may also include new luxury vinyl flooring, cabinets, countertops, some drywall work/repair - so Installers must have a well rounded construction background.
• Adhere to all ZINTEX Remodeling Group's installation standards and procedures while doing installations and providing services.
• Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when dealing with customers.
• Respect customers' property and leave the work area clean.
• Always maintain a professional appearance when on a project in our customer's home.
• Inform customers about the functionality, care and upkeep of their new tub/shower.
• Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork and photos.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent education.
• Possess 2+ years of carpentry, trim carpentry, construction or in-home renovation experience with the ability to take accurate measurements using tape measure, level & combination square.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and maintain a good driving record.
• Basic plumbing knowledge preferred.
• Ability to use power tools (drill, jigsaw, etc.).
• Ability to lift and/or push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Possess reasoning ability enabling you to understand and carry out detailed written, illustrated or oral instructions.
• Problem solver.
• Personal Enclosed Trailer preferred; but not required.
• Work independently.
• Solid work ethic.
