Job summary

ZINTEX Remodeling Group is seeking an Acrylic Shower/Bath Installer for on-site work in Nashville, TN. The contractor will install acrylic shower and bath products, handle plumbing components, and ensure customer satisfaction per company procedures.

Must have a truck/van, tools, and reliable transportation. A high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in carpentry or renovation are required. Valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds are also needed.

Responsibilities

Acrylic Shower/Bath Installer - 1099 Contractor

Must have truck, box truck, full-size van, trailer to transport materials to the home sites and must have tools to complete projects (1099 position)

Job Description

The Installer is responsible for the accurate and professional installation of all our products at the job site according to our procedures and to the customer’s satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Successfully demo, replace and/or expand tub or shower, install all new plumbing valves, PEX, new fixtures, new acrylic wall surrounds. Projects may also include new luxury vinyl flooring, cabinets, countertops, some drywall work/repair - so Installers must have a well rounded construction background.
• Adhere to all ZINTEX Remodeling Group's installation standards and procedures while doing installations and providing services.
• Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when dealing with customers.
• Respect customers' property and leave the work area clean.
• Always maintain a professional appearance when on a project in our customer's home.
• Inform customers about the functionality, care and upkeep of their new tub/shower.
• Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork and photos.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent education.
• Possess 2+ years of carpentry, trim carpentry, construction or in-home renovation experience with the ability to take accurate measurements using tape measure, level & combination square.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and maintain a good driving record. *
• Basic plumbing knowledge preferred. * *
• Ability to use power tools (drill, jigsaw, etc.). *
• Ability to lift and/or push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Possess reasoning ability enabling you to understand and carry out detailed written, illustrated or oral instructions.
• Problem solver.
• Personal Enclosed Trailer preferred; but not required.
• Work Independently
• Solid work ethic.
