Job summary

Groundworks in Texas is seeking hands-on Installers to join our team. As North America’s leader in foundation solutions, you’ll work with experienced crews, receive industry-leading training, and help install proven foundation and water-management systems that protect what matters to customers.

Duties include digging, back-filling trenches, loading materials up to 50 lbs, entering crawl spaces, and following safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of trade-specific tools and correct use of equipment.
• Previous experience in construction industry.
• Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor tasks including digging, back-filling trenches, and site clean-up.
• Assist with installation of products and services under supervision.
• Load, carry, and deliver heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) to and from job sites.
• Enter confined spaces such as crawl spaces and basements to perform repairs.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Follow instructions closely and adhere to company policies, including safety and workplace conduct.
• Foster teamwork by building positive relationships and supporting team goals.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and uphold the company’s reputation.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to ensure project success.
• It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.

The anticipated salary range is the expected hiring range for this role in Texas is $15.50 - $16.75. Final compensation will be based on an evaluation of each candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated capabilities, and work location.
