Job summary

Groundworks is seeking skilled Installers to install foundation and water management solutions at residential and commercial sites in Alabama. You will work with experienced crews, receive comprehensive training, and help ensure high-quality results.

Responsibilities include site preparation, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and safe handling of materials. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Enter crawl spaces and basements for repairs.
• Work outdoors in varying weather while maintaining safety standards.

• Maintain punctual attendance as an essential function.

Installers are responsible for traveling to a residential or commercial building to install equipment, troubleshoot problems with the work assigned, test the equipment, and clean up the job after completion.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor tasks including digging, back-filling trenches, and site clean-up.
• Assist with the installation of products and services under supervision.
• Load, carry, and deliver heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) to and from job sites.
• Enter confined spaces such as crawl spaces and basements to perform repairs.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Follow instructions closely and adhere to company policies, including safety and workplace conduct.
• Foster teamwork by building positive relationships and supporting team goals.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and uphold the company’s reputation.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to ensure project success.
• It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.

The anticipated salary range is the expected hiring range for this role in Alabama is $13.00 - $15.30. Final compensation will be based on an evaluation of each candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated capabilities, and work location.
