Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a skilled Installation Technician to safely install septic systems for residential and commercial sites. You will operate excavators and skid steers, read blueprints, and coordinate with inspectors and customers to ensure compliant, high-quality work.

Requirements include 3+ years of heavy equipment operation, septic installation experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of heavy equipment operation experience (excavators, skid steers).
• Prior septic installation and repair experience required.
• Ability to read and draw simple septic system diagrams.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must pass a DOT drug screen, physical, and road test.

Wind River Environmental is looking for a skilled, safety-focused Installation Technician to join our team!
If you have heavy equipment experience, and a knack for working independently while delivering top-notch service — we’d love to have you on board!
Septic System installs, repairs and modifications.
Applicant must have a valid drivers license.
This is a non-CDL position.
Track hoe experience preferred, but not necessary.
This is a daytime shift - mostly Monday through Friday.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $18.00 - $20.00 hourly at the time of posting.
Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

About The Role

As an Installation Technician, you’ll play a key role in the safe and professional installation of residential and commercial septic systems, working directly with customers, health departments, and inspectors.
You’ll operate heavy equipment like excavators and skid steers, read blueprints and site plans, and ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to code.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:
