Job summary

California Closets CCO in Inglewood, CA is seeking a full-time Installation Technician to install custom storage systems in homes and businesses. You will use hand and power tools, read CAD drawings, and deliver exceptional customer service on every project.

The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a schedule Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm and some flexibility. Hourly pay ranges from $23.50 to $25.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry to install custom storage systems in homes or businesses.
• Read CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems accurately.
• Assemble and install cabinets and closets of varying complexity.
• Assist in removing materials from customer sites as needed.
• Maintain tools and ensure safety on all installations.
• Drive to customer sites in company vehicles and follow safety policies.

Job Description

The Installation Tech installs custom designed residential and commercial storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize company-provided CAD drawings\blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order(tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all time.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with common hand and power tools
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
