Job summary

California Closets is seeking an Installation Tech to install custom storage systems in residential and commercial spaces in Richmond, CA. You will work with luxury materials, follow CAD drawings, and ensure high-quality installations for clients at several job sites.

The role requires carpentry skills, tool experience, and a valid driver’s license. Expect a standard M-F schedule, safety-conscious work, and opportunities to grow with the company as a team member on projects.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with common hand and power tools.
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
• Utilize CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order(tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all time.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Description

The Installation Tech installs custom designed residential and commercial storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Job Highlight:

• We're located on 1414 Harbour Way S suite 1750, Richmond, CA 94804.
• The schedule for this position is M-F 7am-5pm with flexibility needed.
• The pay rate for this position is $24/hr.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record is required for this position.
