Job summary

BearCom is seeking an Installation Technician to install and support wireless and electronic communications systems at customer sites across North Texas. You will work with data cabling, DAS components, and low voltage hardware, delivering practical, on-site solutions.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, using hand and power tools, and coordinating with customers and team members. Travel and per diem may apply; a valid driver's license and high school diploma are required; OSHA/safety

Qualifications

• Experience installing CAT 5/6 cable and terminating coaxial cable.
• Experience installing communication systems in buildings; DAS preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders/at heights.
• Familiarity with PPE and OSHA safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Install and support wireless and electronic communications systems.
• Physically install data cabling and mounting infrastructure.
• Support commissioning of low voltage systems.
• Conduct site walks to determine installation requirements for proposals.
• Some regional/overnight travel and on-call hours may be required; per diem provided.
