Job summary

BearCom is seeking an Installation Technician to install and support wireless and electronic communications systems. You will handle data cabling, mounting infrastructure, and assist with DAS installations while delivering top-tier customer service.

The role involves site walks, evaluating installation requirements, and recommending equipment to meet customer needs. Travel and on-call work may be required, with company training provided.

Qualifications

• Basic electronics background is a plus.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in challenging positions.
• Familiarity with PPE and construction safety practices.
• Reading blueprints or logic diagrams is a plus.
• Experience with data cabling and low voltage systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Physical installation of data cabling and mounting infrastructure.
• Support commissioning of communications and low voltage systems.
• Perform site walks to determine installation requirements.
• Recommend equipment and hardware to meet customer needs.
• Occasional regional travel and on-call hours may be required.
