Job summary

Holman Enterprises in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Installation Mechanic-B to install aftermarket equipment on new vehicles, build them per work instructions, and securely mount mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot 12V circuits, and operate hand and power tools in shop or field environments; a valid driver’s license is required and pay ranges from $23 to $28 per hour with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

1-3 years of previous electrical, mechanical, and equipment assembly experience required.
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Understanding of 12V circuits.
Ability to troubleshoot problems.
Previous experience with hydraulics and welding.
Must be able to provide basic hand and power tools.
Must be able to work in multiple environments – shop, outside in all types of weather conditions as well as in an office.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Install new aftermarket equipment on new vehicles.
Build vehicles according to work instructions and prints.
Safely mount and connect mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.
Test installed parts prior to final inspection.
Verify all line items have been completed on the work order.
Inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the installation process.
