Job summary

California Closets Baltimore is seeking an Installation Tech to install custom storage systems and accessories in residential settings. You will follow CAD drawings/blueprints to assemble and install closets, offices, cabinets, and other spaces, delivering high-quality service for discerning clients.

The role requires hand and power tool experience, carpentry skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install closets, cabinets, offices, and other home spaces.
• Utilize CAD drawings/blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently.
• Assemble and install systems of varying complexity.
• Assist in removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order.
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on job size.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Drive to and from customer sites in company-provided vehicle.

Job Description

The Installation Tech installs custom designed residential storage systems and accessories using a variety of luxury materials. A successful candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, measurements and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Job Highlights:

• We're located on5102 Falls Road Suite 22, Baltimore, MD.
• The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm.
• The pay for this position is $25/hr based on experience.

• Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order(tools are provided).
• Install systems independently or with team members depending on the size of the job.
• Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and operating a company-provided vehicles in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with common hand and power tools
• Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
