Job summary

AT&T is hiring Installation Technicians to install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi and voice services at customer locations in Wilmington, NC. You’ll work independently as a trusted expert delivering best-in-class service and solving problems daily.

Eligible candidates will have a flexible schedule, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Overtime and on-call shifts may apply; training is provided to advance in this role.

Qualifications

• Requires flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Requires valid state driver's license.
• Lift and move up to 60 lbs; ladder safety considerations (weighs 50-60 lbs).
• May work in small spaces or above ground up to 28 ft.
• Overtime, emergency callouts and holiday work may be required.
• Identify wire and cable colors; complete pre-employment assessment.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services at customers' homes and small businesses.
• Work independently as a trusted expert and deliver best-in-class service.
• Provide seamless installation and activation and troubleshooting as needed.

Our Installation Technicians earn between $17.26 and $31.00 an hour.Our average starting salary is $35,906 per year. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.

**Sign-on bonus is paid out as follows:

Payout Schedule:

• $ 1,000 after completion of ninety (90) days of service(Employee must have no COBC violations and no written disciplinary actions)
• $ 1,500 after completion of six (6) months of service(Employee must have no COBC violations and no written disciplinary actions)
• $ 2,500 after completion of one (1) year of service(Employee must have no COBC violations and no written disciplinary actions)
