Job summary

AT&T in Naperville, Illinois is hiring Installation Technicians to install and activate high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customer locations. You’ll work independently, meeting new people daily while solving problems and delivering top‑quality service.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift up to 60 lbs, and ascend ladders. Overtime, evenings, and weekend availability may be required as part of a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and use ladders up to 28 ft.
• Identify wire and cable colors as part of installation tasks.
• Pre-employment assessments required.

Responsibilities

• Install latest technology for high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customers’ homes or businesses.
• Meet new people daily and provide trusted, expert service.
• Work independently to install, activate, and troubleshoot services.
• Be flexible with schedule evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Our Installation Technicians earn between $20.75 and $35.06 hourly. With our amazing wage opportunities, our average starting earnings begin at $43,160 per year. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Lift and move up to 60 lbs – some of our ladders weigh 50‑60 lbs
• Be less than 325 lbs, required for ladder safety.
• At times work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft.)
• Be available for overtime, emergency call‑outs and holiday work.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Qualify on pre‑employment assessments.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
