Job summary

AT&T in East Dundee, IL is seeking an Installation Technician to install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services at customer locations. You will work independently as a trusted expert, delivering best-in-class service and helping customers stay connected.

You will pursue ongoing paid training while working a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, with comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license.
• Lift and move up to 60 lbs (ladders may weigh 50–60 lbs).
• Weigh less than 325 lbs., required for ladder safety.
• Occasionally work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft).
• Overtime, emergency callouts and holiday work may be required.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Pre-employment assessments required.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customers’ homes and businesses.
• Perform installations independently as a trusted expert while delivering service excellence.
• Interact with customers daily, solving problems and representing AT&T professionally.

Our Installation Technicians earn between $20.41 and $33.90 hourly. With our amazing wage opportunities, our average starting earnings begin at $42,458 per year. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
