Job summary

MacQueen Equipment is seeking an electrical installer to fit lights, radios, push bumpers and storage systems on service vehicles. You will read wiring diagrams, install components, and preserve OEM interiors.

Daily tasks include troubleshooting, supporting production schedules, keeping a clean and safe workspace, and delivering field-ready builds with pride. The role offers strong benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

  • Experience with vehicle wiring, installs, or upfitting.
  • Working knowledge of 12V systems, relays, switches, and electrical routing.
  • Comfortable using crimpers, soldering tools, and electrical test equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and schematics.

Job description


  • Installing lights, sirens, radios, push bumpers, partitions, and storage systems

  • Running and cleaning up 12V and 110 wiring (clean work matters here)

  • Reading wiring diagrams and schematics and applying them correctly

  • Disassembling and reassembling vehicle interiors without damaging OEM components

What We’re Looking For

The expected starting hourly range for this position is $20.86 to $31.07 per hour, with final determination based on experience, skills, and overall qualifications.


This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and more.


ADA Requirements:


Bend, squat, climb, grasp, twist, reach, lift or otherwise move frequently for extended periods.


Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs frequently, or more occasionally.


Walk, stand or otherwise move about continuously.


Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer.


Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards including chemicals which may require respiratory protection.
