Job summary

MacQueen Equipment Group in Minnesota is seeking a skilled field technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles across Northern Minnesota. You’ll troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pump systems and perform on-site field service calls with professionalism and urgency.

You’ll work with service managers and technical teams to deliver top-tier customer service, ensuring first responders can rely on life-saving equipment when it matters most.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing emergency vehicles.
• Ability to work independently in the field and provide strong customer service.
• Good problem-solving skills and a “get-it-done” attitude.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and stay current with equipment.
• Must live in Northern Minnesota.

• Class B CDL - preferred

ADA Requirements:

• Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
• Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly
• Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 40 lbs occasionally, >20 lbs frequently
• Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
• Travel by air or car frequently

Compensation:

This role offers a salary range of $27.00 - $47.00 per hour, with final compensation determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
